So I got on the Twitter bandwagon (as if I need anymore "profiles" and "internet blogs" to keep up with, when was the last time I hopped on myspace again?) a few weeks ago because Soapfest is on there and I wanted to stay up to date on what will be happening this weekend, but I think I'm fundamentally missing something. Twitter is not interesting to me at all. It seems so lonely. Yeah you can "follow" people and they can "follow" you, but...what am I missing? My life doesn't (most days) boil down to 140 words. I'm too verbal for that. Plus I'm too lazy to type, post, type more and post again. *sigh* Someone please explain the appeal of Twitter...please...anyone, anyone...Bueller, Bueller?
Now Facebook, the other thing I have joined I understand. True I'm still getting my feet wet with the service, but I enjoy it much more. Add to that the fact that my older sisters and one brother-in-law (plus one Twinnie) are on it and it helps seal cool deal for me. While I'm still more likely to post here, I do like Facebook's user friendly set-up. I've actually reconnected with quite a few friends from *mumble* years ago on there.
Anyway - Twitter- that's my confusion for today.
In the Marco Island/Adam days off front...well we are still swimming in suck. He hasn't gotten anyone to take his shift, but I'm constantly texting him to get him to act sick. We need to set the ground work people. Wednesday and Thursday are essential to pull off this master scheme. I really should feel bad about this, but I can't get over the fact that they (the moron's at the helm) didn't give him two days off, even though he hasn't called in (like ever) or ducked out whenever they needed him at work. It just reeks of suckage. *sigh*
I got back some of my videos youtube took down. *grin* I found this video giving detailed instructions on how to fight the powers that be on Youtube. I'll still rip them from the site and post them somewhere else to ensure the audio deleting doesn't happen again. But for right now I'm basking in the glory of sticking it to "da man". Oh yeah, I just went all rebel there. *flips on "We're Not Gonna Take It" and bounces with a fist in the air*
