Here are pictures of my herbs and two of my cats. I'm bored and thought I would share. When I got back from Marco Island, my basil plants had doubled in size. *grin* I'm so flipping excited.

The little grassy plants are my other herbs- chives.

Now for my cats:

First up--- Lucky

This is my baby girl. She and Rainbow are my girls. *grin* I actually rescued Lucky from being killed in the middle of the road. She was only four weeks at the time and it was raining. Her back leg was hurt and I forced my mom to stop the car so I could run out into the road and save her...hence the name...Lucky

And this is our old cat (like 14 or 15 years old) Domino...we call him Dom for short

Mood:: 'satisfied' satisfied
Music:: The Kill: 30 seconds to mars

Great job on the herbs. I love fresh basil. Did you plant these from seeds? Tomorrow's project is planting flowers. We have a large landscaped area in the front and back of the house. It will take a while. I'll post some pics when we're done. Cute cats. I loved the story about you making your mom stop the car to pick up the kitty. That's just so Jai. Always looking out for others, even the kitties. You're awesome! Tray

Thank you. I'm oddly very proud of my herbs. *laughing* It's so fun watching them grow. I did plant them from seeds. That was a whole adventure unto itself. *grin* I can't wait to see your garden. I love flowers but I've never been extremely good at the weeding process. I'm learning to be better with the herbs. *grin* They are cuties aren't they? My cats and dogs are so special to me. I'm glad you liked the story about Lucky. *grin* And thank you for the compliment. *blushes* It means so much to me that you have such a high opinion of me. ***hugs***

*laughin* I thought the second picture was the second cat you were talking about. I was like they look identical, lol I know, duh, lol Your basil plants look great. I can't wait to start hearing about dishes you're making with them and how they went. Great job! *hugs*

Oh Twinnie, you're crazy. *laughing* It would be interesting if Domino and Lucky looked indentical especially considering they are like ten years apart. *grin* I'm so proud of my basil plants. When I got back from Marco, I had to call my mom and ask her if she zapped them with something because they had doubled in size. *grin* I can't wait to start cooking with them. Oh my sauces will rock! *grin* **hugs**

I know absolutely nothing about growing herbs, but it looks like they are coming along nicely.

Your kitties are so cute! Lucky has beautiful eyes and what a great story. My kitty was a stray too and she's just such a great cat. She got abandoned by her previous owner and showed up on my porch one day.

Quite honestly, I know nothing about herbs either. *laughing* this is an adventure that I'm learning as I go on. *laughing*
I think stray/rescued animals are some of the most amazing because they know that they were rescued and are loved. *grin* I'd love to see a picture of your kitty. I bet she's gorgeous. *grin*

Aww, such furry cuteness! Do your cats rule the roost? I have a cat and 2 dogs and when the cat is in a mood, the dogs give her a very wide berth. *lauging*

I'm so glad your herbs are growing! You're a green-thumb and didn't even know it. I'm not much good with plants. I can make a Chia-pet grow, but that's about it. *grins*

Thanks for posting your pics, I like it when people share their personal stuff. Makes me feel like I know you better.

Well, I'm beat and am heading to bed. Sweet dreams, my friend!

The three cats have places of respect when it comes to the two dogs. *laughing* Alley (the youngest kitten that isn't even a year old) is still earning his respectful place. Domino is the man. He's the oldest in the family, so I guess he would be the one in charge. *grin*

I'm really insanely proud of the herbs too. *laughing* I've never grown them before so I'm learning as I go and so far it's been going very smoothly. *knocks on wood* Normally, I'm the bringer of death to plants. *laughing*

I love sharing with you all. I can't wait to see some pictures from your trip to Europe. I'm so envious of you right now. *laughing* I know you'll have a blast. **hugs**
